MEET TOMMY:

Tommy is a 20 year old Battle Ground, WA resident with downs syndrome. One of his happiest and proudest moments of his life was when he graduated BGHS in 2019! If you were there - certainly you remember him walking cross the stage in true Tommy style to the roaring cheers and delight of the crowd!  Tommy is almost always happy and lives life to the fullest and enjoys doing just about anything - especially playing basketball, traveling or just simply going out and about!

During the Covid time when Tommy wasn't able to go to his "futures" program, he has taken an interest in painting and we discovered he's pretty good at it!  He came home one day and told his mom he's going to be a famous painter and start his own business - and here he is! :)  His Aunty decided to text out to family and friends some of his cute little paintings and that was the start of something special! The community response and support and love shown was overwhelming and Tommy had over 150 special orders the first week!  Tommy loves to do special orders, including several "angels in heaven" in memory of special people. Tommy has much empathy for others and sometimes shares his thoughts or quotes with his paintings :). His happiness and innocence shines through in all his original masterpieces!   He recently chuckled out loud as he made a "Cowasaurus" for a brave customer who said "artists choice!" :) His paintings and cards have already been sent all over the country and as far away as a beach house in Belize! Tommy looks forward to seeing what his next special order will be and gets the cutest grin on his face when you tell him theres a new order! :)

Tommy is saving up his earnings to buy his own "tiny home" some day to live in at his mom and dad's place.  Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support shown to Tommy -
